Your data.
Your rights.
No surprises.

This is easyPOST's privacy policy. We've written it in plain language โ€” not legalese โ€” so you actually understand what we do with your data, why we need it, and what you can do about it.

01 โ€” Data Controller

Who's responsible for your data

When you use easyPOST, you're trusting us with your information. We take that seriously.

The data controller for easyPOST is DynamicDigital, the team behind the product. When this policy says "we," "us," or "easyPOST," that's who we're referring to.

We process personal data in order to provide the easyPOST platform โ€” a tool that helps you create, schedule, and publish content across your social channels and WordPress site.

02 โ€” What we collect

Data we collect โ€” and why

We only collect what we actually need. Here's a plain-language breakdown.

person

Account data

Your name, email address, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text) when you create an account. We need this to authenticate you and send essential service notifications.

share

Connected social accounts

OAuth tokens for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter) when you connect them. We use these tokens solely to publish and retrieve content on your behalf โ€” nothing else.

article

Content you create

Posts, images, carousels, and scheduled content you produce inside easyPOST. We store this to power your content calendar and publishing history. It's yours โ€” always.

payments

Billing data

If you upgrade, payment is handled by our third-party processor (Stripe). We receive billing confirmation but never store your full card number, CVV, or sensitive payment details on our servers.

analytics

Usage & technical data

Log data, IP addresses, browser type, and feature usage patterns. We use this to fix bugs, improve performance, and understand how people actually use the product.

mail

Communications data

If you contact support or fill in the contact form, we keep the conversation to resolve your request. We don't sell this data, ever.

03 โ€” Usage

What we do with your data

What we don't doWe never sell your data to third parties. We don't use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent. Your data is yours.

05 โ€” Third parties

Who else sees your data

We work with a small, carefully chosen set of sub-processors. None of them get your data to resell it โ€” only what they need to do their job.

Provider Purpose Data shared
Stripe Payment processing Billing info, email
OpenAI / AI providers AI content generation (posts, images, ideas) Your prompts & inputs; no PII beyond what you type
Cloud infrastructure Hosting, storage, and database All account and content data (encrypted at rest)
Email service provider Transactional and marketing emails Email address, name
Analytics tools Product usage analytics (anonymised) Anonymised usage events, no PII

All sub-processors are contractually bound to process data only on our instructions, in compliance with GDPR, and with appropriate security measures in place.

06 โ€” Retention

How long we keep your data

Simple rule: we keep it as long as your account is active, and we delete it promptly when you ask.

schedule

Active accounts: We retain your data for as long as your account exists and you're using the service.

delete_forever

Account deletion: When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymised data may persist in aggregated analytics.

receipt_long

Billing records: We're legally required to retain transaction records for up to 7 years for accounting purposes.

support_agent

Support conversations: Kept for 12 months after resolution to allow follow-up, then deleted.

07 โ€” Your rights

You're in control.
Always.

Under GDPR, you have specific rights over your personal data. These aren't just legal boxes to tick โ€” they're real, actionable, and we'll honour them.

01
visibility

Right of access

Ask us for a copy of all personal data we hold about you. We'll provide it within 30 days.

02
edit

Right to rectification

If anything we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you can ask us to correct it.

03
delete

Right to erasure

Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten"). We'll do it โ€” except where we have a legal obligation to retain it.

04
pause_circle

Right to restriction

You can ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances โ€” for example, while you're disputing its accuracy.

05
download

Right to portability

Get your data in a portable, machine-readable format so you can take it elsewhere. Just ask.

06
block

Right to object

Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing at any time โ€” no questions asked.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@myeasypost.com with the subject "Data Request". We'll respond within 30 days. If you feel we haven't handled your data correctly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

08 โ€” Security

We take security seriously

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use secure, access-controlled infrastructure. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We regularly review our security practices as the product evolves.

09 โ€” Cookies

Cookies & tracking

We use a small number of cookies to keep the app working and to understand how it's being used.

Read the full Cookie Policy

Essential cookies

Session management, authentication, and security tokens. These are strictly necessary โ€” the app won't work without them. No consent required.

Analytics cookies (consent-based)

We may use analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. These are only set with your consent, which you can withdraw any time through your browser or our cookie banner.

No advertising cookies

We don't use cookies for ad targeting, retargeting, or cross-site tracking. We're a product business, not an ad network.

10 โ€” International transfers

Data transfers outside the EU

Some of our sub-processors (like Stripe and OpenAI) are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place โ€” including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, and/or reliance on providers covered by appropriate adequacy decisions. We don't transfer data to countries without adequate protection without ensuring those safeguards first.

11 โ€” Contact & complaints

Get in touch about your data

If you have any questions about this policy, want to exercise your rights, or think we've handled something incorrectly โ€” email Yves directly at info@myeasypost.com.

We'll respond within 48 hours on business days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you have the right to file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in your country.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the product evolves or as legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or by displaying a notice in the app before the change takes effect.

The "last updated" date at the top of the page always reflects the most recent version.

Continuing to use easyPOST after an update means you accept the revised policy. If you don't agree, you can always contact us or delete your account.
