01 โ Data Controller
When you use easyPOST, you're trusting us with your information. We take that seriously.
The data controller for easyPOST is DynamicDigital, the team behind the product. When this policy says "we," "us," or "easyPOST," that's who we're referring to.
We process personal data in order to provide the easyPOST platform โ a tool that helps you create, schedule, and publish content across your social channels and WordPress site.
Contact: info@myeasypost.com
Questions about your data? Reach us at that address and we'll get back to you within 48 hours.
02 โ What we collect
We only collect what we actually need. Here's a plain-language breakdown.
Your name, email address, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text) when you create an account. We need this to authenticate you and send essential service notifications.
OAuth tokens for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter) when you connect them. We use these tokens solely to publish and retrieve content on your behalf โ nothing else.
Posts, images, carousels, and scheduled content you produce inside easyPOST. We store this to power your content calendar and publishing history. It's yours โ always.
If you upgrade, payment is handled by our third-party processor (Stripe). We receive billing confirmation but never store your full card number, CVV, or sensitive payment details on our servers.
Log data, IP addresses, browser type, and feature usage patterns. We use this to fix bugs, improve performance, and understand how people actually use the product.
If you contact support or fill in the contact form, we keep the conversation to resolve your request. We don't sell this data, ever.
03 โ Usage
Short version: we use it to run easyPOST, improve it, and keep you informed about things that matter to your account.
04 โ GDPR Legal Basis
Under GDPR, we need a valid legal basis for every type of data processing. Here's how that maps to what we do.
Contractual necessity
Processing your account data, connected social tokens, and content is necessary to fulfil our contract with you โ i.e. to actually run easyPOST.
Legitimate interests
We process usage and technical data to improve the product and secure the platform. This is balanced against your interests โ we don't use it for profiling or advertising.
Consent
For marketing emails and non-essential cookies, we rely on your explicit, freely given consent. You can withdraw it at any time โ and it won't affect anything else.
Legal obligation
Some data (e.g. transaction records) may be retained to comply with applicable law, such as tax and accounting regulations.
05 โ Third parties
We work with a small, carefully chosen set of sub-processors. None of them get your data to resell it โ only what they need to do their job.
| Provider | Purpose | Data shared |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing | Billing info, email |
| OpenAI / AI providers | AI content generation (posts, images, ideas) | Your prompts & inputs; no PII beyond what you type |
| Cloud infrastructure | Hosting, storage, and database | All account and content data (encrypted at rest) |
| Email service provider | Transactional and marketing emails | Email address, name |
| Analytics tools | Product usage analytics (anonymised) | Anonymised usage events, no PII |
All sub-processors are contractually bound to process data only on our instructions, in compliance with GDPR, and with appropriate security measures in place.
06 โ Retention
Simple rule: we keep it as long as your account is active, and we delete it promptly when you ask.
Active accounts: We retain your data for as long as your account exists and you're using the service.
Account deletion: When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymised data may persist in aggregated analytics.
Billing records: We're legally required to retain transaction records for up to 7 years for accounting purposes.
Support conversations: Kept for 12 months after resolution to allow follow-up, then deleted.
07 โ Your rights
Under GDPR, you have specific rights over your personal data. These aren't just legal boxes to tick โ they're real, actionable, and we'll honour them.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@myeasypost.com with the subject "Data Request". We'll respond within 30 days. If you feel we haven't handled your data correctly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
Contact our team08 โ Security
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use secure, access-controlled infrastructure. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We regularly review our security practices as the product evolves.

10 โ International transfers
Some of our sub-processors (like Stripe and OpenAI) are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place โ including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, and/or reliance on providers covered by appropriate adequacy decisions. We don't transfer data to countries without adequate protection without ensuring those safeguards first.
11 โ Contact & complaints
If you have any questions about this policy, want to exercise your rights, or think we've handled something incorrectly โ email Yves directly at info@myeasypost.com.
We'll respond within 48 hours on business days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you have the right to file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in your country.
