The basics
A cookie is a small text file that gets saved in your browser when you visit a website. That's it. It lets the site remember things — like that you're logged in, or which language you prefer — so it doesn't have to ask you every time.
Some cookies disappear when you close your browser (session cookies). Others stick around longer (persistent cookies). We use both, and we'll be clear about which does what.
What we use and why
We break them into three buckets: the ones we can't remove, the ones that help us improve, and the ones that help us reach the right people.
These keep easyPOST running. Without them, you can't log in, save your work, or use the platform at all. We can't turn these off — and neither can you, because the app simply wouldn't work.

These help us understand how people use easyPOST — which features get used, where people drop off, what works. We use that data to fix things and build better. Data is anonymised and aggregated; we're looking at patterns, not at you specifically.

Provider: Google Analytics 4 (anonymised IP). Data stored on Google servers, subject to Google's privacy policy.
These track whether our ads are working — so we don't show the same ad to someone who already signed up. They also let us reach people with similar profiles to our existing users on platforms like LinkedIn or Meta. If you'd rather we didn't, you can say no.

You're in control
You have a few ways to control what gets stored in your browser. The simplest is the consent banner that appears when you first visit easyPOST — you can choose what to accept right there.
You can also change your mind any time. Just reach out to info@myeasypost.com and we'll reset your preferences, or use your browser settings to clear existing cookies.

Policy updates
We update this page whenever our cookie use changes — adding a new tool, removing an old one, or adjusting how long cookies are stored. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the most recent version.
